One of the four founding members of Quest Pharmaceuticals, Mr. Umesh Lal Shrestha serves as the Managing Director, overseeing the company in its entirety. He has over four decades of experience in pharmaceutical marketing and is a well-known personality in Nepal’s healthcare fraternity. Mr. Shrestha is the current Vice President of Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industries (FNCCI) commodities association, and former President of Association of Pharmaceuticals Producers of Nepal (APPON).

Mr. Shrestha is widely recognized as an astute business leader. He has served in various capacities at the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industries (FNCCI), including as the Chairperson for its Industry Committee. His commitment to society is reflected in his active involvement in the Federation’s CSR activities. Heading the CSR Forum, he is helping develop Nepal’s national CSR policies.

An avid sports’ enthusiast, Mr. Shrestha served as the Vice-President of Nepal’s Olympic Committee from 2007 to 2015. He has represented the country in ‘bridge’ game, and serves as the General Secretary of the Nepal Bridge Association. He is also the running President of Nepal Hockey Association.
